Dear Students and Parents,

It’s almost time for Camp Fulbright 2012!  

Since 2005, the Fulbright staff began the tradition of hosting Korea’s most comprehensive, dynamic, and exciting English camp experiences: Camp Fulbright.  Each year, we strive to give our campers our absolute best as we prepare our camp program, and this year we have some special plans to make this the best Camp Fulbright summer ever!

Our theme this year, Fulbright Studios, is all about exploring different types of media and genres.  Each day’s activities will focus on a different genre, and whether the theme is about mysteries, science fiction, documentaries, or even suspense or music, the campers will be learning and having tons of fun at the same time. 

We are fortunate, once again, to be holding our camp on the amazing Jungwon University campus where the campers can enjoy the fresh air, and the finest and the most comfortable facilities in the country, including the very popular swimming pools!  

Campers this year will have the chance to make friends from the United States as we will, once again, have Junior Counselors from middle and high schools in the United States joining our camp team.  This year is also the first year we will have Korean high school students serving as Junior Counselors as well!  This is a new program we are starting this year, and campers who want to learn leadership and teamwork can work hard and apply for the program in the future.

Camp Fulbright 2012 is not just about swimming pools, classes, and activities: it’s also about meeting great people and making new friends.  Some of our very best Instructors, Counselors, and Junior Counselors be back this year, and expect new faces to join our Camp Fulbright family!  

While every year we are sad to see camp come to an end, we are very proud to hear that our campers are still keeping in touch with each other even years after camp.  Even campers from 2005 are still friends and keeping in touch with me and the other staff!  Camp Fulbright truly is an unforgettable life-changing experience.
